Sorry about that list but we need you to know we are important people doing important things. That’s important for you to know. Important.

Anyway, we are Davíð Helgason (founder of Unity and Foobar), Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir (film editor), Haraldur Thorleifsson (founder of Ueno), Magnea Einarsdóttir (clothing designer), Melanie Ubaldo (artist), Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir (Of Monsters and Men), Ólafur Arnalds (musician), Paul Bennett (Chief Creative Officer and Co-CEO IDEO), Ragnar Kjartansson (artist), René Boonekamp (creator).

How do I become a member?

hafnar.haus is a space for makers and creators in the creative industries.

At the moment, we’re at full capacity for the private studios, but still accept people in the open plan coworking space. Applications will be judged on several criteria, among other; the connection to the creative industries, diversity of members and whether your intended operations fit in the hub.

Can I get a tour?

Yes! We’d be happy to show you around.

We do tours of the house on Friday at 13:00. Send an email to info@hafnar.haus if you would like to join.

What do I need to bring?

Pretty much everything.

This is a DIY space. There are no desks or chairs, or plants, no beer on tap, it’s a blank canvas for you to fill, together with the other members of the space.

What’s happening in hafnar.haus?

A loooooooot!

With over 250 members from a variety of creative fields under one roof, there’s always something happening. Have a look at the community’s website to see who our members are and what they’re up to.
